Frequently asked questions
- Why do the two formulas differ?
- Epley and Brzycki use different equations, so they diverge slightly at higher reps. The percentage table uses the average of both.

- The estimate avoids a true max attempt, but it is not medical advice. Warm up, use a spotter and lift within your ability.
