Frequently asked questions

Why do the two formulas differ?
Epley and Brzycki use different equations, so they diverge slightly at higher reps. The percentage table uses the average of both.
Should I max out to test this?
The estimate avoids a true max attempt, but it is not medical advice. Warm up, use a spotter and lift within your ability.
