Frequently asked questions
- Does cropping remove content permanently?
- Cropping adjusts the visible page box (crop box and media box) so trimmed areas are hidden and excluded when the PDF is printed or exported.
- What's the difference between points and percent?
- Points are an absolute unit (72pt = 1 inch); percent trims a proportion of each page's own width or height, useful for pages of varying sizes.
- Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
- No, cropping is performed entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library.
